Description
Each RX7 tail light gasket is made from a sheet of 1/4″ laser cut closed cell foam, these gaskets are a soft and flexible sponge rubber that provides good thermal and moisture insulation. It is also resistant to ozone, sunlight, oxidation, and many chemicals and petroleum derivatives.
We chose a thicker 1/4″ material to accommodate for warped tail lights due to age, sun, heat, etc. During testing, it was revealed that unless your tail lights are in good condition it can be difficult to achieve a water tight seal. These thicker gaskets are soft enough to seal with any condition tail light.
These gaskets are NLA (no long available) from Mazda. Set contains both left and right gaskets, one set required per car. Fits Series 2/3 cars, (1981-1985).
